We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team at our prefab concrete manufacturing plant. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications and develop detailed quote submittal for custom precast products and materials.
  • Determine the most cost-effective method of production
  • Conduct cost estimates and provide competitive pricing to customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Accurately reflect change order pricing in project budgets and schedules.
  • Regularly review market trends to ensure pricing remains competitive.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the quote process
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met and to resolve any issues.
  • Identify bid board opportunities, working closely with sales generating new leads to increase sales and grow the business.

Success in the Estimator role will be measured by: 

  1. Quote accuracy: The percentage of quotes that are accurate and competitive, resulting in new profitable business opportunities secured.
  2. Customer satisfaction: The level of customer satisfaction with the quote process and product quality, as measured by customer feedback surveys.
  3. Quote turnaround time: The average time it takes to provide a quote to a customer, from the time the request is received
  4. Lead-to-quote conversion rate: The percentage of leads that result in quotes being provided to customers.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Evidence of efforts made by the estimator to improve the quote process, including identifying and implementing new tools, systems, or processes
