What the Recognition Means

Now in its 40th year, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program is one of the most respected awards for entrepreneurs across the globe. Finalists are selected based on their ability to lead innovative companies, drive growth, and create meaningful change within their markets. The Gulf South region includes standout leaders from Central and South Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Being named a finalist is a strong testament to the culture and commitment we have here at Locke. Under Asher’s direction, we’ve continued to evolve and expand, becoming a trusted partner in the infrastructure, utility, and industrial construction sectors. This recognition celebrates not only Asher’s entrepreneurial success but also the team-wide dedication that drives us forward.

What’s Next?

Regional winners were revealed on June 12, 2025 and will now move on to be considered for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards, which will be presented at the annual Strategic Growth Forum in November. The Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner will then represent the US as they compete for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in May 2026.

Although Asher did not advance to the national stage, being named a Gulf South finalist is a powerful affirmation of his leadership, innovation, and impact.
